I just got back from the Grandview Beach Parade. While Grandview Beach isn’t in my County Legislature district, I still go every year. It’s a chance to see people I’ve met through my full time job as Deputy Supervisor for the Town of Greece. I even saw a few fellow Greece Rotarians.
It’s an annual tradition. A neighborhood event where kids march and ride their bikes and residents sit out in front of their houses with friends and family.

Here’s a picture of me walking with my son David. My older son Jimmy went to walk in the Irondequoit Parade with my wife. Jimmy will be upset when I tell him David and I met Brian Gionta, the NHL star from Greece.
I’ll be off to Grace and Truth Sports Park for the Spirit of America 4th of July celebration a little later.
