About
Jeff, his wife Kristin, and their sons Jimmy and David
Welcome to my website, it is a work in progress. I would like to take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in the Rochester area. My family moved to Greece in 1972 and I started second grade at Barnard elementary school. I went to Britton Road Junior High School (the current site of the Britton Road Wegman’s) and graduated from Greece Olympia High School in 1982.
I went to Buffalo State College and in the Spring of 1985, I spent the semester in Albany as then Assemblyman Roger Robach’s session intern. This experience helped me realize that public service was my calling. I graduated in May of 1986 and a week later I was working for then state Senator Ralph Quattrociocchi.
I learned a lot from these two men, both exceptional public servants with different skill sets. They provided my career with a foundation that I still draw on all of these years later. I’ll save you a blow by blow run down of the stops I’ve made along the way, but I’m proud to have served our community in different capacities for almost 23 years.
I’ve served in the Monroe County Legislature since 2003. I was appointed to replace Bill Reilich, when he was elected to the state Assembly in 2002. I was elected in 2003 and re-elected in 2005. When I was first appointed to the legislature, I served as Chief of Staff for Senator Joe Robach. I now work full time for the Town of Greece as Deputy Supervisor.
My wife Kristin and I live on Larkwood Drive in Greece with our sons Jimmy, who will be starting 2nd grade at the Terry Taylor School, and our son David who will be starting his second year at the East Irondequoit Early Childhood Center in BOCES 1.
I am a member of Greece Rotary, the Greece Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Treasurer for the Arts and Cultural Council for Greater Rochester and my wife and I are members of Upstate New York Families for Effective Autism Treatment (UNYFEAT).
I’ll be sharing my views and positions here and through mailings during the course of the campaign. In short, my priorities are controlling government spending and creating job opportunities here in Monroe County.
Thanks for coming to my website and make sure to come back, I plan on updating this site regularly.
